The Rembrandt
Residence Hotel is situated in the heart of Amsterdam between the Herengracht
and the Singel, near Dam square. It is set in seventeenth and nineteenth century
monumental buildings right on the city's most prestigious canals. The hotel
is on a 10 minute walking distance of the Central Station and it is 5 minutes
from the famous shopping streets Kalverstraat and Nieuwendijk. Three streets
behind the hotel is the Spuistraat situated. There are many cosy restaurants
in this street. From typical Dutch food till Spanish, Italian, Indian and a
lot of other nationalities. After a 15 minute walk, you'll reach the Leidseplein
or the Rembrandtplein. These two squares have a lot of bars, clubs and restaurants.
The museums are easy to reach from the hotel because many trams are stopping
on Dam square. After approximately 10 minutes you're on the Museumplein, where
the Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk museum are situated. Madame Tussaud's
is only a 5 minute walk from the Rembrandt Residence Hotel.

The hotel has 111 rooms including
2 executive rooms. There are in total 37 rooms that are facing the canal.
All rooms are equipped with a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, colour
television with pay-Tv and CNN and a international direct dial telephone.
Pay-tv channels are movie channels. When the pay-Tv is used we'll charge €
9.50 per day till the next day noon.
Room service
The Rembrandt Residence hotel doesn't have the disposal of a restaurant for
lunch or dinner. But the hotel does have room service with different meals
and snacks, from 17.00 till 22.15 hour.
Laundry service
The hotel offers laundry service. When the laundry is delivered before 9.00
hours at the reception it will be ready the same day between 19.00 and 20.00
hour. The laundry will be brought up to the room.

All trams stop at Dam square. When you get off the tram, you are standing
with your back to the palace and you are facing the Magna Plaza. You turn
left and the first street right. You are now in the Raadhuisstraat. You go
straight ahead and at the second canal you turn left. Then you go straight
ahead and after 300 meters the hotel is at your left hand. You will recognize
the hotel by the blue porch.
